Durham Regional Police Service (DRPS) are searching for a missing Oshawa woman.

Police released a report at 11:30 a.m. today saying 32-year-old Adrienne McRobert was last seen in Oshawa Jan. 14, near Olive Avenue and Court Street.

Police say McRobert has gone missing in the past, but never for this long. DRPS was not able to confirm anything about these past occurrences or whether or not McRobert is in any serious danger.

“Right now, we’re just concerned that she’s been missing for an extended period of time,” said David Selby, director of corporate communications for DRPS.

Her family and friends are concerned for her safety as she has not had any contact with them since her disappearance.

McRobert is described as a white female standing about 5-feet with a thin build, hazel eyes and dyed “reddish” hair that goes to her shoulders. She was last seen wearing a black jacket with “Bench” written in white lettering on the back along with a black “K-Swiss” windbreaker, dark-coloured Guess jeans and tan moccasin boots.

Anyone with any information about McRobert’s whereabouts is encouraged to call the police.
