As digital content developer for the Centre of Academic and Faculty Enrichment, I produced
newsletters about our faculty services, highlight faculty achievements, new teaching
techniques, innovative programs and more. This required me to write articles, conduct
interviews and work with a team to design and produce content for our newsletter, online,
social media platforms.
Intern| Metroland Media |Durham Region| April 2019 - May 2019
As an intern at Metroland Media in Durham Region, I conducted interviews, chased stories and produced over 30-plus stories for our online and print papers, even earning myself a spot on the front page. I worked completely independently to produce stories that were up to industry standard and was also charged in scheduling photographers and interviewees, pitching original content, operating on a deadline and turning around relevant, interesting content in a timely fashion with minimum need for editing. At the conclusion of my internship, I received a 10/10 review from the leading editor, Mike Johnston.
Volunteer| Snapd |Whitby| May 2018 - June 2018As a volunteer writer for Snapd, I wrote two pieces about upcoming events and local organizations. I was charged with scheduling interviews, fact-checking producing the material according to a deadline.

As a freelance social media manager and content creator for Dadson Outdoor Apparel, I am charged with editing unique logo-centric company photos as well as writing inspiring posts to encourage our audience to continue to follow. As a reporter for the Chronicle, I researched, pursued, and produced news for multiple forms of media including online, print and radio. I was charged with taking and editing myown photos, video, and audio for these platforms.
